Saturday School Summer Break

Saturday School is currently on summer break, but we're still learning! Regular Saturday School classes resume Saturday, September 10, 2022. In the meantime, try out our Church School Summer Independent Study Program in session during June, July, and August. Click or tap the button below.
Although our school has moved to Saturday, it is still the place to experience life-oriented Bible study within the context of an active, caring community of people. Our Virtual Saturday School offers strength and accountability for living out the Christian faith every day of the week. Saturday School is FREE and open to everyone. You do not have to be a member of The Central Baptist Church to participate. Click or tap the buttons below to participate in Saturday School.

Traditional Curriculum

Saturday Mornings - 11 am until 12 noon, ET.
We offer the Traditional Curriculum to learners of all ages every Saturday morning from 11 am until 12 noon. This curriculum focuses on Bible-based teachings that are relevant and designed to foster class discussion and participation, moving learners deeper in the understanding of God’s Word. You may be asked to provide your name and contact information to receive class materials. The parents and guardians of children and youth, ages 3-17, are encouraged to email us for important information and instructions before getting started.  Everyone is invited to learn with us. You do not have to be a member of Central to participate.

Spiritual Elements Essential for Discipleship (SEED) Curriculum

Saturday Evenings - 7 until 8 pm, ET
The SEED curriculum is for adult learners ages 18 and older. We offer the SEED Curriculum every Saturday evening from 7 until 8 pm.  This curriculum is a spiritual formation series aimed at maturing adults in their Christian walk so that their hearts and, ultimately, their lives are planted in good soil. Christians can help reproduce other Christians to serve in God's kingdom with this curriculum foundation. Participants are required to register. All adults ages 18 and older are invited to join. You do not have to be a member of Central to participate. Click or tap the buttons below for more information about SEED and registration.

Introducing:
Sunday School Summer Independent Study Program

We're doing a new thing!

The Church School is offering for the very first time, an independent study program. The independent study program will run during the months of June, July, and August 2022.

Traditional Class - Beginning Saturday,

the months of June, July and August. Current SEED class students will receive a Summer Reflection email from Rev. Shoats every two weeks beginning 6/6/2022. If you are not currently a student of the SEED class, but would like to participate, please contact church school superintendent Myra Staples. Beginning today, for those congregants who so choose, you can access two Youtube sites for weekly lessons from the Traditional Class Adult Study Book. These sites are Sunday School Made Simple (provides a 10-minute overview) and Sunday School Publishing Board (provides 30-minute overview) of same lessons. When accessing either site, please search for date of lesson as each site gives a different title; however, the lessons are the same. For a schedule of the lessons and titles go to the church website and click Saturday School - Traditional Class.

EDIE: The last statement is only if you are able to include the chart that was sent in the email Lois forwarded to you and Pastor.
