Prime Age Seniors

_{The PRIME AGE SENIORS MINISTRY offers opportunities to enjoy fellowship and grow in Christ through reaching out to fellow mature adults age 55 and older within our church and community. We hope to lead others to faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, delight in good Christian fellowship, and provide practical opportunities for Christian service.}

The goal of our ministry is to ensure that every senior has a place of ministry and service as long as they live. No matter what limitations: physically, financially, or emotionally, we believe seniors can and should participate in activities that are designed for service for the Lord. We endeavor to show love and concern for all seniors, to give them an opportunity to use their God-given abilities in service, to provide opportunities for Christian fellowship, and to provide opportunities for a deeper understanding and the assurance of God’s continuing love and care.

Trips & Outings

^{Several trips of varying duration are planned throughout the year to places of historic interest, for relaxation, and for fun, fellowship, and enjoyment. We invite family members, neighbors, and friends to come along and share the day with us. We usually enjoy a meal together, and it’s a great way to get to know others in the group and enjoy a day out!}

Luncheons

^{These luncheons take place the second Tuesday of each month from 11:30am – 1:30pm in the church's Multi-Purpose Room. We feature outstanding speakers and musicians. The food is catered and delicious, the entertainment is vibrant, and the fellowship is sweet!}

Exercise

^{Research shows that physical activity can boost self-esteem, mood, sleep quality and energy, as well as reducing your risk of stress, depression, dementia and Alzheimer's disease. It's also free and easy. We exercise at least 30 minutes every time we meet.}

Bible Study

^{PRIME AGE SENIOR members believe that the most important thing they do is Bible study. Our teachers are dedicated to teaching the truths of God’s Word creatively and accurately to bring about life change. Our Bible study sessions also provide many opportunities for social and mission events for both members and prospects.}
