Lady Rhonda Kim Morton
Lady Morton embodies the character of the proverbial woman in Proverbs 31.
LADY MORTON, a native of Maplesville, Alabama has been actively engaged in Christian ministry her entire adult life serving alongside her husband, Pastor Rodney T. Morton. Lady Morton is a committed wife, mother, prayer warrior, and educator.
Lady Morton has assumed an active role in the life and ministry of our fellowship since her arrival with her husband in August of 2012. She has served as the Women’s Ministry Leader and presently serves as Children’s Ministry Coordinator.
Lady Morton matriculated at Auburn University where she earned both, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education. Lady Morton taught in the Alabama Public School System before coming to Baltimore and now teaches in the Maryland Public School System. Lady Morton continues her life-long journey as an educator as she impacts the children of our church and community. She pursues her passion for children with special needs with excellence as it continues to be a compelling call on her life.
In addition to raising their one son, Rylan Alexander, Lady Morton is committed to the role of servant leadership and community service. While obligations to ministerial commitments are a priority, Lady Morton always ensures that her family is well maintained and cared for. Lady Morton strives daily to be an example of a virtuous woman -- a woman who is yielded to God in every area of her life. She firmly believes that, “the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” - James 5:16.
